结合包头城市广场案例,在城市广场空间认知的基础上,就功能和文化两个方面阐述了城市广场与城市品位之间的关系,指出通过城市广场完善城市功能与表达城市文化对于提升城市品位是重要的,从而为城市建设带来一定的指导意义。

Combining with the example of Baotou city square,on the basis of the recognition on city square space,the thesis illustrates the relationship between city square and city grade from two aspects of function and culture.It points out it is important for promoting the city grade to perfect city function and express city culture through city squares,which has certain guiding senses to city construction.
