简要介绍了交通量预测的定义、作用及交通量的构成,列举了国内外关于交通量预测的方法,阐述了交通量预测过程中应注意的几个主要因素,以期提高公路交通量预测的准确性,从而为管理者提供科学的决策依据。

This thesis briefly introduces the definition and function of traffic volume prediction and components of traffic volume,lists internal and external traffic volume prediction methods,and illustrates several major factors paid attention to in the process of traffic volume prediction,with a view to improve the accuracy of highway traffic volume prediction and to provide scientific decision-making basis for mangers.
