This paper discusses the creativity of the literary translator. Literary translating is an act of the translator＇ s esthetic recreation, is the translator＇ s recreation of linguistic art, the literary translator is the recreator of the translated literary text and the translated literary text is permeated with the translator＇ s esthetic interest and spiritual power. The translator＇ s artistic recreation of reshaping litarary expression and the literary text enable the life of the original to live in its new linguistic environment.
