Dialogue Teaching is a new teaching pattern,and the core of it is dialogue.Dialogue Teaching thoery has guiding significance to the improvement of teaching quality of the Course of English and American Literature,and it mainly inlcudes the following three aspects：the communication between teachers and students in teaching process,the dialogue between teacher-student and literary works,and self-dialogue.Students can fully appreciate the unique charm of British and American literature under the new democratic,equal,harmonious teacher-student relationship created by Dialogue Theory.
