泰安芝田村清真寺考略

On the Mosque of ZhiTian

泰安市省庄镇芝田村清真寺创建于明成化之后,嘉靖以前,而后不断增修;该寺历史上采取以寺养寺的经营方式,拥有大量学田;同时采用阿訇聘任、教务群议等管理制度;对伊斯兰教在当地的传播及发展具有重要作用。寺内主体建筑保存完好,现存30余册古代手抄《古兰经》、4块清代碑刻。该寺的存在对于教化人心、稳固社会具有重要现实意义。该寺的沿革及发展见证了伊斯兰教、回族在山东乃至华北地区的发展,同时也是伊斯兰教在儒释道文化发达的泰山脚下传播的一个缩影。

ZhiTian Mosque is located in ZhiTian village,Shengzhuang town,Taian City.It was built after Chenghua year and before Jiajing year of Ming dynasty.From then on it has been continually upgraded.In history,ZhiTian mosque has adopted a special mode of operation which can be called＂temple raises temple＂.It owned a large number of school farms,adopted a system of administration,such as appointed Imams to administer and made decision concerned with Religious business through group discussion,which played an important role in promoting Islamism dissemination and development in local place.The main building of Mosque is Well-preserved.The Mosque preserved more than 30 volumes hand-written copies of The Koran dated back to ancient times,and four stone inscriptions of Qing Dynasty.The Mosque is vital to enlighten people＇s mind and sustain the stability of the society.The evolution and development of the Mosque witnessed the development of Islam and the Hui in Shandong province as well as in North China.Meanwhile,it is a microcosm that revealed how Islam propagated at floe foot of mountain tai,an area where Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism were highly developed.
