摘要
记述短头叶蝉属Iassus Fabricius1新种:宽板短头叶蝉I.latus,sp.nov.。模式标本保存在苏州大学昆虫标本室。
This paper describes a new species in the genus Iassus Fabricius from China. Type specimens are kept in the Insect Collection of Soozhou University. Iassus latus Shen et Cai, sp. nov. （Fig. 1） This species is very similar to Iassus dorsalis （Matsumura）, but distinguishable by the pronotum and scutellum tawny, by the widening base part of subgenital plate, by the structure of anal collar process and ventral processes of pygophore, and by the hind margin of the female seventh sternite medially produced and undoes. Length： ♂4.7~5.5 mm, ♀5.6~5.8 mm; length incl. tem.： ♂6.1~6.3 mm, ♀6.2~ 6.7 mm; width of head across eyes： ♂2.1 mm, ♀2.4 mm; width of pronotum： ♂2.3 mm, ♀2.6 mm. Holotype ♂, Mt. Wangwoshan, Jiyuan, Henan, 680 m, 03-Ⅵ-2000, light trapped, coll. CAI Ping. Paratypes 3♂♂3♀♀, same as holotype; 1♀, Mt. Baotianman, Neixiang, Henan, 750 m, 21-Ⅶ-1999, other same as holotype; 1♂, Experimental Horticulture Farm, Inner Mongolia Academy of Agricultural Sciences, 23-Ⅵ-1981, coll. XIE Xue-mei.
