The State of Art and Development Direction of Obtaining Petroleum Science Information Resources via Compact Disk Database and INTERNET

全面系统地了解石油信息资源并加以充分应用是发展石油科技的基础,随着光盘和网络技术的迅速发展,从光盘和Internet网上获取信息资源业已成为获取信息的主要途径。本文论述了光盘数据库和Internet网上石油信息资源状况,以及利用它们获取石油信息资源的方法,并以石油大学(北京)为例,分析了石油高校光盘数据库和Internet网上的石油信息资源现状和发展方向。

The base of application and development of petroleum science is to find out petroleum information resource comprehensively and systematically. Obtaining information via compact disk database and INTERNET have became main approaches in research activity along with the speedy progress of technology on compact disk and network. This paper have reviewed the state of art of compact disk database and internet resource in petroleum science , how to obtain petroleum information resource from compact disk database and internet. Further, The state of art and development direction of petroleum science information resoruces in the universities and colleges of petroleum industry have been discussed for Petroleum University(Beijing)as an example.
