Combining Science,Technology and Medicine,Cultivating High-quality Multirole Talents in Biotechnology Field

根据生物技术专业特点,结合本校理工医学科优势,以及华中地区的生物技术相关产业的特点,确定了生物技术专业人才培养目标定位,即:面向生物能源及生物基化学品制造等工业生物技术产业,培养急需的研发能力强的复合型创新创业人才。在此基础上,从课程体系、精品课程及教材建设、教师队伍建设、实践教学等方面进行专业建设。增加学生的竞争力和适应力,促进了生物技术高等教育的健康发展。

According to the characteristics of biotechnology,and the joint advantage of science,technology,and medicine of our university,as well as the characteristics of biotechnological relevant industry in central China area,we determined the objective orientation of the biotechnology major in our college,namely：serving the biotechnology industry,such as biological energy and biological manufacturing chemical industries,cultivating urgent needed innovation talents with high capability of research and development.Based on this understanding,we reconstructed our biotechnology major in the aspect of courses system,exquisite course construction,teachers＇ team promotion,and practice training procedure construction,increased students＇ competitiveness and resilience,and promoted the healthy development of higher education of biotechnology.
