Internet map is a special map product,and an important carrier of geomatics.This paper analyzes the online map market,development status,existing problems in internet era,and discusses the difference between internet map and traditional paper maps.Then it expatiates on the progress of internet map services of mapping industries of the involved provinces and the advantages.Finally,it predicts the future of the internet map on this basis.
