坚守与突变:试论鲁迅儿童文学翻译中的“意译”法

Holding and Changing: on Lu Xun’s Free-translation Method to Children’s Literature

鲁迅乃翻译界颇具影响力的人物之一。他"宁信而不顺"的硬译主张,因译文生涩饱受争议。笔者认为在翻译儿童文学作品时,他采取了与其一贯坚持的"直译"相异的"意译"法。本文主要从儿童心理、爱好、审美情趣入手,结合翻译作品的题材、语言等,较为详细地分析了鲁迅儿童文学翻译采用"意译"的深刻原因。

As one of the famous translators,Lu Xun made great contribution to translation. His literal translation theory ＂faithful at the expense of fluency＂ was subjected to much criticism,while he abandoned this principle in translation of children＇s literature. This paper analyzes in detail the deep reasons for his free translation in children＇s literature works,from perspectives of child psychology,hobby,aesthetic taste,and content and language of these works.
