Opening laboratory is an important base of carrying out ability oriented education and training undergraduate innovative ability in colleges.This article analyses the necessity of opening laboratory,introduces the active exploration and useful practice for Laboratory of Process Control at the Henan University of Technology which gives courses in opening experimental teaching for the undergraduate students.Then it describes,in detail,the opening pattern,the executive method and the important role in the promotion of undergraduate science and technology contest of the opening laboratory.Opening laboratory has been regarded as effective methods in practice to cultivate innovative talents in colleges.
