This article describes the common problems of experimental equipments management in the university and also focuses on the equipments＇ using efficiency.Southwest Jiaotong University has taken some effective measures.These measures are as follows：Strengthen the efforts on the college laboratory equipment management by improving the understanding the management.Strengthen the equipment managers＇ training and improve the quality of the manager,keeping the management team developing steadily.Developing experimental instruments and equipment management system,modern office means play an important role in laboratory equipment management.
