摘要 大学英语写作一直是令许多非英语专业学生头痛的事,他们往往连教学大纲对写作的最低要求也达不到。教师也认为教授写作是件苦差使,因为批改作文不仅费时费神,而且收效甚微。旨在介绍一种国外语言教学中较为流行的同伴评价机制,若应用得当,这一优点颇多的方法定能有效提高我国大学英语写作教学。 Writing in English is considered a headache for many college students. They always fail to meet the basic requirement of the teaching syllabus in this respect. Teachers also consider teaching writing as drudgery because it is time-and energy-consuming to mark the writings but meanwhile proved far from being effective. This paper, therefore, aims to introduce peer response, an approach of teaching English writing into colleges throughout China. With its eminent features, this approach will bring about satisfactory results if properly applied.
