建设社会主义新农村是我国现代化进程中的重大历史任务,是构建和谐社会的重要内容。加快社会主义新农村建设,各级政府责无旁贷,要充分发挥政府在建设社会主义新农村中的主导作用,提高政府公共投入效率,积极探索一条促进城乡统筹、协调推进新农村建设的新路子。既从宏观上把握政府在新农村建设中的功能定位,又从微观上紧密联系基层实际,从而指导和推动基层工作实践。

To construct the socialism new countryside is a great task in the process of modernization of China and a main part in constructing our harmonious society.To enhance the process,the government plays an overwhelming role,which urges to increase its public funding effectiveness and explore a new way to make overall plans and coordinately push the construction.Thus can we grasp its functional position fixing from the macroscopic view and relate closely to grass-roots practice from the microscopic view as well as to guide and push forward the grass-roots work practice.
