The cataloging in publication has a positive and significant effect on the work of the library catalogue.This paper focused on the discussing of the positive and negative effects of the usage of cataloguing in publication in small and medium libraries,and gave some suggestions on the improving of the usage of the cataloguing in publication in the cataloging work.
