The Application of Project-based Learning Method in Business English Listening and Speaking Teaching at Vocational Education Level

目前,高职商务英语专业人才培养中存在的突出问题是英语语言知识与商务知识和商务技能衔接不紧密,缺乏商务英语的实践性环节。在商务英语听说教学中尝试"项目式学习法",可以促进学习者英语知识与商务知识体系的主动构建,培养英语语言技能,同时培养学习者团结合作的职业态度。

The facts that business English course does not dovetail linguistic knowledge into business common learnings and business skills and that business English course fails to meet students＇ need for practical experience are major concerns for Business English teaching at vocational education level. This paper adopts project-based learning method in Business English listening and speaking teaching, aiming to facilitate students＇ active construction of Business common learnings, to develop their habit of collaboration and to improve their ability to address practical problems in the real world.
