After Rickshaw Boy was published in U.S in 1945,Lao She became one of the few Chinese writers who have international influence.This novel was widely reported by the American Press.The latter discussed many aspects of the novel,such as the artistic attainments,tragic meaning,critical subject and arts of language.The literary circles of U.S also introduced Lao She.As the result of these reviews,Lao she and his characters not only correct the social prejudices against the Chinese people,but also become one part of the new Chinese image.
