This paper talks about the development of Low-E coating technologies and the comparisons between different approaches in China.Fallacies in application of Low-E glass per se were discussed using thermal radiation principles.The proper use of low-E glass was recommended in order to optimize the performance of the Low-E coated glass used for IG units.
