摘要
通过对非英语专业一、二年级学生自主学习现状的调查,了解学生自主学习的基本情况;通过对两个年级情况的对比,发现新、老生在自主学习方面存在差异并分析其原因;进一步探究影响自主学习现状的因素。研究发现,学生有自主学习的意识,但整体自主学习水平不高;两个年级学生在概念理解、计划实行、策略运用及对学校提供条件的要求方面存在差异;缺乏系统知识、缺少内在动机、专业策略训练不够等因素导致了他们理论不能联系实际。
This study was undertaken to investigate the general state of affairs of the non-English majors' English autonomous learning in Yangzhou university, exploring the differences between freshmen and non-freshmen in terms of their autonomy in English learning and analyzing the underlying factors responsible for the present state of such affairs. The study shows most non-English majors try to learn autonomously, but they are unable to combine theory with practice because of their unsystematic knowledge of autonomous learning, the lack of intrinsic motivation and the insufficient professional training of strategies. Freshmen and non-freshmen show differences in their understanding of autonomous learning, in their choice of strategies and in their attitude toward SACs.
