Canal line selection for main canal from Taocha to Lushan section of Middle Route Project of S-N Water Diversion

南水北调中线工程陶岔至鲁山段总干渠,起点位于丹江口水库的陶岔闸,终点位于河南省鲁山县薛寨北(沙河南岸),全长238.742 km。渠线受陶岔渠首、方城垭口、穿黄工程3处控制点的约束,总体走向先由西南向东北,再向正北方向布置,经过河南省南阳市的淅川、邓州、镇平、方城4个县市和卧龙、宛城两个城郊区,以及平顶山市的叶县和鲁山县。沿线穿越大小河流131条,灌溉渠系45处,公路227处,铁路4处,全部采用立交型式。简要介绍了渠线选线方案、设计比选的思路和方法,以期为相关工程的规划设计提供参考。

The main canal of Middle Route Project of South-to-North Water Diversion from Taocha to Lushan starts at Taocha sluice of Danjiangkou Reservoir with total length of 238.742 km.The canal line is constrained by Taocha sluice,Fangcheng pass and Yellow River-Crossing project,in general,the canal direction is southwest-northeast first and then to the due north,and crosses Xichuan,Dengzhou,Zhenping and Fangcheng counties and Wolong,Wancheng suburbs of Nanyang City,Yexian and Lushan counties of Pingdingshan City in Henan Province.The main canal in this region crosses 131 rivers,45 irrigation canal systems,227 highways and 4 railways,and all crossing structure are overpass-type.We summarized canal-line schemes,comparison and selection thoughts and methods to provide reference for design and planning of relevant projects.
