A single-phase electric energy meter with remote concentrated ammeter reading is introduced.And the MCU is the central part of the meter which is designed with the energy metering ic focus on the time division multiplier.The designs of the hardware and the software are given.Multi functions are realized.For example,multi-rate power measuring,remote concentrated ammeter reading,prepayment,long-distance automatic meter and reading control.The method of the system phase error analyzing of the meter is put forward,and the system error is estimated.
