Water conveyance system is an important part of a hydropower station,especially to high head and diversion type station,in which head loss calculation is more important.This text discusses the problems to be attentioned in head loss calculation of water conveyance system in combination with the Nadarivatu Renewable Energy Project.Calculation on shotcrete roughness and head loss of horse-shoe tunnel is discussed to provide reference for head loss calculation in other projects.
