The gear involute master and helix master are measurement standards and usually used to calibrate the involute and helix parame-ters of gear equipments.When the master is used to calibrate gear measurement equipments,such as the gear measurement center,parameters need to be converted frequently because of the different designed parameters.The gear master testing center provides the parameters so that the involute master and helix master can be used to calibrate gear instruments directly.The way of calculating the parameters of modulus,pressure angle and helix angle of the gear masters that are used to calibrate gear instruments is in detail in this paper.
