The presented work surveyed the capacity, equipment quantity, board types, board dimensions, regional distribution, and equipment types of the continuous press currently used in wood-based panels industry in China. Based on a thorough analysis of the statistics and the market prediction, the authors came to a conclusion that the continuous press market demand has a good growing potential in China in the near future.
