刘应秋《一砚斋集》散文述评

On the Essays in the Book-Yiyanzhaiji of Liu Yingqiu

明末清初安康作家刘应秋手稿《一砚斋集》共有散文六十八篇,其思想内容可分为六类:感叹士子怀才不遇,抒写个人不幸人生;记录文友交往,谈论诗文书画;抨击社会时弊,反映民生疾苦;辑录地方文化盛事,展现世情风俗演变;赞颂循良吏治,再现时代风云;探古发幽,挑战古人,另立新言。艺术上有四大特色:现实主义与浪漫主义相结合;多种修辞方法并用,表现手法多样化;语言以本色为主,典雅工丽兼而有之,擅长用典;风格雄浑豪迈,且富有韵律感、节奏感,呈现出音乐美。

Yiyanzhaiji is the representative selected essay work of Liu Yingqiu of 17th century,the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty.It embodies 86 pieces of his essays.The work,mainly divided into 6 sects,expresses the literator＇s exclamation of lost reliance and emotion for their personal miserable ness,records the friend relations,tattles about poetics,painting and calligraphy,judges the society disadvantages,reflects the people＇s sufferings,compiles local cultural pomposity,lays out the evolution of custom and human life affairs,commends the advanced officials,reveals that time conditions,probes the ancient,emits self spirit,challenges the ancient,and superinduces new ideas.There are four peculiarities in art of his works： combination of the realism and romanticism;many eloquence methods used and varied techniques showed off;language based on the essential features with the elegant smart splendid literary quotations;style of solid and magnificent abounded with rhythm feeling which gives us the beauty of music enjoyments.
