Study of Context Culture That Influences Discourse Arrangement

1976年,美国著名的跨文化交际研究专家Edward T.Hall在其Beyond Culture一书中提出了强、弱交际环境理论。大体而言,汉语和英语分别属于强交际环境下的语言和弱交际环境下的语言。不同的交际环境影响着两种语言的思维形式、语篇和话语结构。本文将在交际语篇结构分析的基础上对这种影响力进行初步探讨。

In 1976,Edward T.Hall,an American intercultural communication study expert,brought forward a theory of the high context culture and the lowcontext culture in his book,Beyond Culture.By and large,Chinese language and English language are affiliated to the high context culture and the lowcontext culture respectively,which help to form the mode of thinking,discourse arrangement of the two languages.The essay is to discuss about the effect of context culture on discourse arrangement of the two lan-guages.
