《西厢记》第一折"惊艳"写张君瑞与崔莺莺的艳遇,为文学史提供了"艳遇"原型书写之经典范例。剧作家将"惊艳"置于全剧开篇,使之成为整个故事的无限情由,开出"艳遇"原型的纯粹境界。金圣叹的点评一是从文章学角度指出唱辞层次错落,文法精妙;二是从人物关系角度指出"莺莺无情,张生生扯",对人物特征做出异于传统的评价。结合原文和批语细读"惊艳"一折,不难发现剧作家的艺术用心和点评者的独具慧眼。

The first charter of ＂Romance of West Chamber＂ by WANG Shi-fu was a story about Zhang Jun-rui who fell in love by a shocked look at the beautiful girl Cui Ying-ying who was daughter of pre-prime minister.WANG Shi-fu provided the classic examples for the＂Romantic look＂prototype.On the other hand,the punctuation and annotation by JIN Sheng-tan（1608-1661） to＂Romance of the Western Chamber＂revealed profound meaning of the＂meeting the beauty＂placed in the first chapter.
