Danba County is situated in the east end of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,which is in Southwest China’s Sichuan Province and about 320 kilometers from Chengdu.In 2005,after extensive consultations,Chinese National Geographic chose the six most beautiful ancient rural towns or counties in China.Danba not only made the list—it topped it.
丹巴县城地处四川省甘孜藏族自治州东部，距成都市320公里。2005年，在《中国国家地理》杂志评选出的中国最美的乡村古镇中，丹巴位居榜首。
