On July 13, a rural woman from Matou Town, in Zixi County, in East China＇s Jiangxi Province, visited the organic grape garden and covered the fruit with ＂coats.＂ With the ＂protective umbrellas,＂ neither insects nor birds could attack the grapes. As a result, the quality and yield of the pollutionfree fruit improved substantially, and the garden＇s economic benefits increased more than 30 percent.
