摘要
选用黄铜作为研究对象,通过淹没射流的方法进行表面强化。研究了水空化射流压力、射流时间对黄铜表面光洁度、表面硬度和硬化层厚度的影响。结果表明:水空化射流对黄铜表面有明显强化效果,射流压力和喷射时间对其空化喷丸能力以及表面硬度和硬化层厚度有重要影响;与传统喷丸相比,水空化射流冲击后表面粗糙度低、表面硬度高,是一种有发展前景的表面强化方法。
The submerged water jet peening process was employed to strengthen brass surface.The effects of water jet pressure and jet peening time on surface finish,surface hardness and hardened layer thickness of the brass specimens were studied.The result shows that significant surface strengthening effect of water jet peening on brass is observed,and the jet peening pressure and jet peening time markedly influence the surface hardness and the hardened layer thickness of the brass specimens.The surface quality and hardness of the brass specimens water-jet-peened is higher than that traditionally shot-peened.The water jet peening is a promising process for surface hardening.
