人们刨根问底的质问历史，但是当历史的概念中抽离了实实在在的一秒、一分、一小时、一天、一年、一个世纪、一个百分之一百真实具体而不是某种概念的时间时。
People try and question history, but when we try to extract a single second,minute, hour,day,year,century——any unit of time that is 100 percent true and not conceptual, the answers we get are never more honest or compelling than doubt itself. Our understanding of the world remains always in a state of futile change. Everyone is absent-minded,vacillating, unable to shake an ineffable awkwardness. We are all wanderers, wandering at the edges of the world.
