摘要
对于唯物史观在人类社会发展进程和近代中国社会所产生的巨大影响以及社会物质生产方式的重要地位,近代中国自由主义者均有不同程度的认同。但在社会发展的决定因素问题上,自由主义者往往将唯物史观片面理解为"经济史观"或"经济决定论";在社会历史领域,自由主义者大都保持不同程度的唯心论立场,且对唯物史观的阶级斗争论持反对态度。从近代中国的思想进程考量,虽然自由主义者对唯物史观的理解存在片面、偏激之处,但其评论与质疑在某种程度上对于促进马克思主义者科学理解唯物史观仍有一定的启迪作用。
Modern Chinese liberals have more or less the same consensus on the important impact of historical materialism on the development of human society and contemporary Chinese society,and agree on the important position of material means of production.But on the decisive factors of social development,liberals tend to be have one-sided minunderstanding of historical materialism as the'economic view of history'or mechanical'economic determinism'.In the field of social history,many liberals agree with the position of idealism and oppose class struggle.Considering the actual situation in modern China,to a certain extent,the liberals'comments and views still have certain promoting role and insights for Marxists to have a scientific understanding and deeper thinking of Historical Materialism.
