As a new concept weapon,shipborne laser weapon gets much attention from many countrys＇ naval because of its rapid response,good flexibility,high shot precision and low shot cost.This paper analyses the composition and characters of the shipborne laser weapon,introduces the development status of shipborne laser weapon in U.K,Russia and USA.Last,this paper expounds the development trend of the shipborne laser weapon at the point of technique view.
