Comparison of Chinese and western medical history is the future development trend in medical history teaching.This method has enriched the contents of medical history,made more clear conditioning,made room for extensive and developed thinking.Medical development is not isolated,any change and development of medical history are closely related to ideology and culture,religion,geographical environment,science and technology,medical education at that era.Therefore,attention should be paid to several key issues in comparison between Chinese and western medical history in teaching.
