摘要
流行于20世纪六七十年代的价值澄清理论,对美国的道德教育产生了巨大的影响。它批判传统道德教育的灌输和单纯内容的教授,强调个人价值选择的自由,将教育的重点放在价值澄清的过程上。其合理性在于具有鲜明的时代性和针对性、具有较强的实用性和可操作性、注重生活化和实践性、具有一定的科学化水平。而其局限性在于倡导相对主义价值观、偏重形式而忽视德育内容、对传统道德教育的简单否定。
Value clarification theory was a popular moral education theory in the 1960s and 1970s in America, which has brought great impact on American moral education. The theory criticizes the traditional moral education model of being told and the content knowledge teaching,focuses on the fi:eedom of individual value choice and puts the emphasis of education on the process of value clarification. The reason for its wide popolar is its rationality, its development based on the need of the times,its nature of targeted, practical and feasible,its relevance for the life and reaching a certain scientific level. While its limitation is that it advocates relative values, focusing on the form but the content, and denying the traditional moral education simply.
