Energy-conserving and pollution-free building, harmonious and pleasing environment, energy-conserving and pollution-free hardware are the conditions for constructing a green library. After the analysis of the green building, green electric devices, green com- puter devices and green storage devices of the library, the authors apply various techniques and strategies so as to reach the goal of saving energy and protecting the environment, so that a solid foundation is laid both materially and environmentally for constructing a green library.
