摘要
OAI-PMH框架作为一种简单的、低障碍的互操作解决方案而得到广泛应用,目前OAI-PMH应用系统由于采用集中检索模式,在实现大规模数字图书馆互操作时,存在着中心服务器负载过重、容易单点失效等问题。本文在OAI-PMH框架基础上,引入基于Chord的混合式结构化P2P网络模型,提出一种分布式检索模式的数字图书馆互操作框架,该互操作框架将参与互操作的数字图书馆分为若干簇,各簇的体系结构采用OAI-PMH协议交互框架模型,并将在各簇中负责采集元数据的所有超级节点以Chord结构化P2P网络结构组织在一起,提供快速的索引查询。该互操作框架具有能保证数字图书馆高度的自治性、检索效率高、负载均衡、较好的健壮性和可扩展性等优点。
OAI-PMH framework as a simple and low-barrier interoperability solution is widely applied at present.Because the current OAI-PMH application system adopts centralized retrieval model,it exists problems such as overload of the central server and easily leading to failure of a single point in implementing interoperability of the large-scale digital libraries.This paper presents a distributed retrieval model framework for interoperability of digital libraries applying Chord-based hybrid structured P2P network model based on OAI-PMH framework.In this framework for interoperability the digital libraries which participate in the interoperability are divided into a number of clusters,the architecture of every cluster adopts the interactive frame model of OAI-PMH, the super peers which are responsible for collecting metadata in each cluster are organized together by the Chord structured P2P in order to provide fast indexical retrieval.This framework for interoperability has many advantages such as ensuring a high degree of autonomy of the digital library,efficient retrieval,load balancing,better robustness and expandability.
