Statistics of industrial accidents in China during the period from May to June in 2010

文章统计了2010年5—6月国内发生的各种安全生产事故268起,其中包括矿业事故、交通事故、爆炸事故、火灾、毒物泄漏和中毒及其他事故。统计表明,在268起事故中,交通事故最多,占60.82%,其次是其他事故(20.15%)、矿业事故(13.43%)、爆炸事故(2.61%)、火灾事故(1.87%)毒物泄漏和中毒(1.12%)。268起事故共死亡1472人,伤869人,死亡人数的百分比分别为交通事故48.57%、其他事故29.89%、矿业事故17.93%、火灾1.56%、爆炸事故1.43%、泄漏中毒0.61%;受伤人数的百分比分别为交通事故52.47%、其他事故36.82%、矿业事故7.36%、火灾1.96%,爆炸事故1.27%、泄漏中毒0.12%。

The present paper reports the statistical data and analysis of industrial accidents in China during the period from May to June in 2010. There are 268 accidents in total, which can be summarized and classified into six categories ： mining industry, traffic, explosion, . leakage and poisoning, fire, and the others. Of all the 268 accidents, the percentages of the six categories can be illustrated accord- ing to their frequency order 13.43% , 60.82% , 2.61%, 1.12%, 1.87%, and 20.15% respectively. The total casualty is 1472 and the percentages for the six categories are 17.93%, 48.57%, 1.43%, 0.61%, 1.56%, and 29.89% respectively. The number of the wounded is 869 and the percentages for the six categories are 7.36%, 52.47%, 1.27%, 0.12%, 1.96%, and 36.82% re- spectively. The analyses of the statistics show that the top five provinces and cities with the highest accident number are： Guangdong （24 accidents）, Hunan （22）, Sichuan （22）, Yuunan （18）, and Heilongjiang （18）. The top five provinces and cities with the largest casualty number are： Guizhou （ 170 dead）, Hunan （121）, Guangdong （109）, Guangxi （106）, and Sichuan （99）. And the top five provinces and cities with the biggest wounded number are： Chongqing （152 wounded）, Heilongjiang （141）, Guangxi （90）, Hubei （74）, and Guangdong （69） .
