摘要
本文重点考察"不是A,而是B"句式假性否定的功能价值。首先跟真值否定进行对比,继而分析了它的六大类型:递进性、提升性;本质性、关系性;比喻性、象征性。最后指出该句式具有强烈的主观性色彩,关键是推出深层肯定,这是一种以追求特殊语用、修辞效果为目的的策略性否定。
Abstract This paper focuses on the functional value of pseudo-denial of the pattern búshì A, érshì B(不是 A,而是 B). Based on a comparison between the values of genuine denial and pseudo-denial, it identifies six major semantic categories of pseudo-denial: progressive, promo- tional, essential, relational, analogical and symbolic. Finally, it points out that this pattern bears the feature of strong subjectivity, aiming to usher in deep approval. What it pursues is strategic denial of a unique pragmatic and rhetorical effect.
