创造性思维新颖性的脑机制:来自ERP的证据

Neural Mechanism of Novelty in the Creative Thinking:Evidence from an ERP Study

摘要 新颖性是创造性思维的一个重要特征,但是新颖的思想"是什么时候在大脑的什么位置产生"仍然是个谜.实验用奇特的照片和几何图形作为触发汉字新语义的手段,采用ERP技术研究创造性思维新颖性的神经机制.结果发现:新语义和原语义的差异波有一个明显的正波峰(P440ms),它与新颖性产生的过程有关,偶极子分析结果表明P440ms的产生源定位在前额叶下回. Novelty is an important characteristic of creative thinking. When and where novelty is produced in the brain remains a mystery. In the present study,peculiar photos and geometries were adopted to trigger the novel semantic production of Chinese characters,and the ERP (event related potential) technique was used to research the neural mechanism of novelty in creative thinking. The findings showed that the difference wave ("novel"-"primary") had a distinct wave crest——P440 ms,which might be related to the process of novelty production. Dipole analysis located the generator of P440 ms in the frontal lobe sub-gyre.
