Deconstructing the Theoretical Concepts for Training Teachers of Chinese as a Second Language

摘要 汉语教学如何走向世界,取决于能够胜任在多元文化环境中独立工作的汉语教师。目前中国大学即将开设国际汉语教师硕士课程,国外培养汉语师资的教育动向就更具有借鉴的价值。本文揭示和展现了西方汉语教师的培养动态,并就传统的培养汉语教师的方案进行批评性讨论,主张对传统模式实行"解构",从理念的角度探索跨国培养汉语教师的新途径。 Promoting of Chinese language teaching all over the world largely depends on the teachers who are capable to work independently in a multi-cultural environment.While new postgraduate courses for training teachers of Chinese as a second language are proposed in Chinese universities, it is significantly important to look at the experiences of training teachers of Chinese in other countries.This paper reveals the development of teacher training in the Western countries followed by a critique on the conventional model of teacher training.It is suggested that a deconstruction of existing theoretical framework is needed in order to search for a new path for training teachers of Chinese as a second language.
