摘要
王承绪先生是我国著名的比较教育学家,他在漫长的教学科研生涯中积累形成了独特而宝贵的比较教育研究思想。王承绪先生认为比较教育研究者必须要掌握外语、资料和考察三个方面的基本功。他非常重视比较教育研究中的方法论问题,主张以马克思主义,尤其是辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义作为学习和掌握比较教育具体研究方法的基础。他认为比较教育研究应强调学术、借鉴和咨政三个方面的目的与功用。他主张比较教育研究中应着力解决"民族性"、"主观性"和"可比性"等方面的难题。他非常强调比较教育研究要敢于创新,敢于研究和提出"新理论"、"新方法"和"新模式"。王承绪先生的这些思想对我国比较教育的学科发展和人才培养无疑具有重要的意义。
As a distinguished expert in comparative education in China, Prof. Wang Cheng-xu has accumulated and formulated a series of unique and worthwhile views on comparative education research. He insists that researchers engaged in comparative education must be equipped with the basic capacities in foreign languages literature and field visit. He has paid much attention to the methodology and advocated to take Marxism, Dialectical Materialism and Historical Materialism as the basis of research methods. He argues that the purpose of comparative education research should be academic study, borrowing and policy-making. He claims the factors such as nationalism, bias and comparability, should be broken through. He also encourages the researchers to propose new theories, new methods and new modes. The above views and thoughts presented by Prof. Wang Cheng-xu undoubtedly contribute to the capacity building of academic community in comparative education in China.
