It is most important to win the favor of meeting attendees in the process of creating a famous convention city.In view of the important role that urban unique charm plays in attracting meeting attendees, the paper, based on relevant study results such as selection of meeting sites and motivation of meeting participation, sums up 12 urban features that significantly affect meeting attendees and further conducts empirical study.Following main conclusion is obtained: 1.Out of 12 urban features, meeting attendees attach great importance to security, with least emphasis on shopping environment.2.There are significant differences between male and female meeting attendees in terms of 5 urban features including shopping environment and generally women pay more attention to these characteristics than men.3.Beijing is the best of nine cities in the mainland in terms of real performance, with Guangzhou the worse one, ranking only sixth, with least stress on security. The study conclusion obtained in this paper is not only of instructive significance in creating a famous convention city, but also offers important referential value to service organizations for the improvement of their service.
