古诗与国风的渊源关系主要表现在三个相似方面:抒情内容、抒情手法、语言表现手法。古诗以温婉哀丽的语言抒发怨情,风格委婉悲凉,但古诗内容和诗体繁杂,风格水平参差。因为年代久远,作者和时代难以考证。古诗符合钟嵘的诗歌理想,故《诗品》把它列为上品。

The origin relation between Ancient Poetry and Guofeng is mainly reflected in three similar aspects ： the content of emotional expression, the technique of emotional expression, the technigue of language expression. Ancient Poetry expresses sadness and resentment with mildness. The style is euphemistic, but the content and style are complicated and the style level is different. As it was written in ancient times, it is hard to make a textual research of the author and times. Ancient Poetry accords with Zhong Rong＇ s poetric ideal. Thus, Shi Pin sets it in the top grade.
