道统节制政统的历史性努力

Historical efforts taken for Confucian orthodoxy to restrain political orthodoxy

中国历史上出现过很多治世、治朝的繁荣局面,这与道统对政统的节制不无关系,具体表现在四个方面:利用古人传统的敬天之性抬出"天"、"理",鼓吹"天人感应","存天理,灭人欲";用"礼治"观念将君主引入"圣道";以士人的勇于直谏来限制政统;以循吏的德政及教化功能来德化州县。

In Chinese history there have been a lot of peaceful and prosperous periods,which has a certain relationship with Confucian orthodoxy＇ s restraining political orthodoxy and is shown in four aspects ：by taking advantage of ancient people＇ s traditional respect for ＂heaven＂ and advocated ＂ heaven＂ , ＂ principle＂ , ＂ sensation between heaven and human＂ and ＂making the course of nature existent and the desire of human extinct＂ ,leading monarches to holy road by the idea of government by rites,restraining political orthodoxy by scholars＇ brave and straightforward advice, by making use of honest and upright officials＇ government by virtues and its enlightening function.
