As a core member of the CPC＇s first-generation central collective leadership,Liu Shaoqi conducted,for the various weakpoints exposed in the political system operation,a series of vigorous studies exploring democratic political construction,and,in particular,reflected upon the value orientation of democratic and political functions,democratic centralism,eliminating bureaucratism and reinforcing the democratic construction of constitutional government.While we are deepening the democracy reform,our research on Liu Shaoqi is of great significance to the construction of democratic politics with Chinese characteristics.
