Social Costs of Different Transportation Modes on the Beijing - Shanghai Corridor

结合国外在发展交通时对社会成本问题的研究,提出旅客运输最优结构的概念。通过分析社会成本的各项内容,得出了各种运输方式社会成本比较结果。同时对修建和不修建高速铁路条件下的社会成本也进行了比较,得出了应修建京沪高速铁路的结论。

Combining research on problems of social costs in developing transportation abroad, the concept of optimum structure of passenger transportation is presented. Through analyzing all items of social costs, the comparable result of social costs of different transportation modes is concluded. With comparison of both social costs under the condition of constructing and not constructing a high-speed railway, it is concluded that it's necessary to construct the Beijing - Shanghai High-speed Railway.
