Three Aspects of Modernist Power Construct in T.S.Eliot's Poetic Discourse

本文试论艾略特诗歌中现代主义话语权的三个重要建构因素:美学方面对古典范式与浪漫主义的传承容纳;现代主义诗歌话语权建立的政治经济学因素;主体话语在形式与欲望的矛盾中的建立过程。

This paper discusses three major aspects of the construct of the modernist power discourse in T.S.Eliot＇s poetry：1） Eliot＇s poetic adoption of classical formalism and his manipulation of romanticism; 2） The construct of a Modernist poetic discourse as a collective maneuver of political economy; 3） The Eliotic power discourse as a contrasting combination of the traditional intentionality for order and the modern immediacy of chaotic desire.
