李晬光之所以喜爱寒梅,是因为寒梅的自然禀性与他精神世界中的某些审美追求相遇而达到契合的结果。寒梅在他的心中,永远是一个富有人性的象征,是生命的某种特殊符号。从艺术的层面上看,他不但延续了过去东方传统诗歌中梅花从自然物到道德人格象征的历史轨迹,而且在前人的基础之上,更进一步解构了蕴涵其中的洁贞脱俗的某些秉性。同时,在他的寒梅诗里,明显投影着宣、光、仁祖时期"屡经世变"而"独不玷类"的自己"洁贞"的孤傲品质,也阴息着他在北京的岁月里那些难熬的孤寂和心理痛苦。

The reason that Lee Su-Gwuang loves wintersweet is the result that the nature of wintersweet meets and fits for the aesthetic pursuit of his spiritual world.In his mind,wintersweet will always be a symbol of humanity and a special symbol of life.From an artistic point of view,he not only followed the historical trajectory of the wintersweet traditional poems,in which the symbol of wintersweet transfers from natural objects to moral personality,but also deconstructed some refined mettle which implied in the poems.Meanwhile,in his poems,an elegant and exclusive character of＂independent without blemish＂ is reflected although＂experiencing several changes of status＂during Xuan,Guang,Ren Periods,and his loneliness and psychological distress when he was in Beijing in those days was expressed.
