高时间分辨闪烁体探测器组装设计与性能分析

Assembly Design and Performance Analysis of High Time-Resolved Scintillator Detectors

摘要 为了提高正电子湮没寿命测量中能量分辨率、探测效率,本文对高时间分辨探测器进行组装及性能分析,如晶体的封装、输出脉冲幅度及上升时间等要素与外加电压的变化关系、能量分辨率、探测效率等进行测试.实验结果表明,在相同电压情况下,使用聚四氟乙烯作为反射层材料能有效地提高闪烁体探测器的探测效率;在外加电压为2580V情况下,聚四氟乙烯反射层探测器湮没峰的能量分辨率为7.8%,而反射层为Al箔时则为10.4%.结果说明了在相同外加电压的情况下,聚四氟乙烯反射层探测器湮没峰的能量分辨率比Al箔反射层探测器的要好. In order to improve energy resolution,detection efficiency and some ther requirements in positron lifetime spectroscopy,we describe how to design and construct the high time-resolved detector,such as the crystal package,the output pulse amplitude,the risetime,etc. We also tested the energy resolution,detection efficiency,variation of voltage and so on. Experimental results show that,in the same voltage conditions,the use of Teflon as a reflective layer material can effectively improve the detection efficiency of scintillator detectors; in applied voltage of 2 580 V circumstances,Teflon reflector detector energy resolution rate is 7.8%,while the reflective layer is Al foil,the detector energy resolution rate is 10.4%. So the peak energy resolution rate of Teflon scintillator detectors is better than that of the Al foil scintillator detectors.
